The View Beyond Earth

By Cary Neeper

Action & adventure, New adult fiction, Sci-Fi | Paperback, Hardback, eBook

An uninvited figure dressed in space garb drops in on a Southwest Space Station promotional gala. After the gala he is seen driving off with microbiologist Tandra Grey. A few weeks later they disappear with her two-year-old daughter and are not heard from again until Earth’s 2051 moon explorer “Dove” crashes on the moon’s Straight Wall near Mare Nubium. When Tandra and her daughter return to Earth, their hopes for making a difference there shatter, and they find their lives soon redefined. Author Jean Bolen called this a "perfect metaphor of Jungian Individuation," what it means to confront who you are, as Tandra confronted Conn, too alien and too familiar, at the same time a challenge to all she believed.

My writing includes the Archives of Varok series portraying long-term solutions for current dilemmas, two musical scifi melodramas, book reviews on Goodreads, and columns for astronaut.com and the Los Alamos Daily Post.
