And the Roses Bloomed Yellow

By Stefanie Harris

Historical fiction, Romance | eBook

AND THE ROSES BLOOMED YELLOW is the story of Liliana Mirabeau Patterson, a daughter of the old Louisiana aristocracy, and her husband, Joshua, a native of Georgia with strong Scotch-Irish roots. Set in New Orleans in the early 1880s, it begins with two cases of yellow fever and escalates into a dramatic clash between Creole and non-Creole culture that calls even the strongest declarations of love and loyalty into question.

Stefanie Harris is a graduate of the University of Utah with degrees in history and economics. Historical fiction is her favorite genre to read and to write. When she's not writing (or thinking about writing), you can usually find her watching sports, catching up on the latest political headlines, listening to country music, or spending quality time with her best friend--her beagle, Riley.
